With peoplefone this is already possible today thanks to our internet business model. We use the internet to reduce call access charges as well as to manage our customer relationships. Peoplefone takes you out of the tariff jungle. You get more talk and less blah blah!
Peoplefone is a Swiss company, privately held by Swiss investors, including the Zurich Kantonalbank (ZKB).
It was founded in 2005 by Christophe Beaud, who is also the CEO. Christophe was Co-Founder & CFO of SurfEU, which challenged the incumbent ISPs such as Bluewin by providing free internet access to 1.5 million customers in Europe before being bought by Tiscali in 2001. Peoplefone is already operational in Switzerland, Austria, Poland and Slovakia. More countries are planned for the coming year.
